  • Sewage lifting (pumping) stations are first steps to achieve public health systems in modern cities today.
  • This is very critical process as it involves LT/HT pumps and inefficient operation leads to over flow of drainage system creating serious health hazard.

  • Automation of the same is done with dedicated RTU systems having all types of pump control strategies to achieve accurate and efficient operation of the pumps.
  • This is based on level of wet well, which is done with ultrasonic non contact measurement.
  • Pumps are operated with very complex logics of alternate duty and service ratio where in pump duties are rotated; taking care of operation time, to keep sequential operations, where in equal usage of all pumps is achieved. PLC system takes care of electrical interlocks and energy consumption of individual pumps to calculate pump efficiency.
  • Reports are generated shift wise for executives. Teleprocessing is done thru wire less communication to central master station.
